It is finally there
Yes, Chandrayaan-I has finally reached at a 100 Km moon-orbit. It has beamed a picture of the moon too. If interested, you can view it here. The Terrain mapping camera (TMC) and the Radiation Dose Monitor (RADOM) payloads have been switched on. We now wait for the Moon Impact Probe (MIP) to hoist the Indian national flag on the moon surface. While crashing on the moon surface the MIP, is also supposed to take pictures of the surface and beam them back. So let us see.
